Presenting my first ever print on print outfit of the day! I have never been able to bring myself to do the whole print on print trend…I guess it is one of the hazards of being a 90’s kid when brown lipstick and print-on-print were a huge no no. But there was something about this W for Woman outfit that just clicked and for the first time I find myself thoroughly loving this concept. Their summer collection is beautiful! From the extremely bold & brights to the feminine & soft pastels can be found here. Btw the kurta is actually sleeveless and I found this inner wear of sorts which takes care of the issue aka adds sleeves to any outfit. I think I bought it from Zivame and back then they had 2 options in it- one this plain version and the other in a lace version. Honestly it is best thing ever especially since I have not ended up getting many an outfit just coz it didn’t have sleeves in it! And no it is not anything like those sleeve socks or tattoos rather it is like a blouse with a low cut front that fits you snugly. So basically they are not going anywhere even if they end up getting tugged.
This gorgeous clutch has been hiding in my closet since a few years and I finally got a chance to do it justice. It was love at first sight when these came out for the first time around a few years back and by chance the designer showcased her work in Kolkata in an exhibition and I was able to land one of these. She does some gorgeous work using a combination of wood and cloth. Ok I feel like I can literally live day in and day out in my AND palazzo! I cant bring myself to wear anything else this summer…becomes very hard to not reach for them each time I think of stepping out. These are super comfortable and the material is just ideal for this weather. I would probably end up buying them by the dozen if there were other colors available in them. Seriously you need to check them out for yourself. On a side note – I love how the pictures turned out! Found a lovely photographer called Oindrila Bhol. The composition of each picture is mainly her idea and frankly I love her eye for aesthetics. Hopefully there will be a lot more collaboration with her in the future on this blog (fingers crossed). Do check out her work…I have left a link to her page below. That’s it from me…See you around divas!
